Notice of cancellation for Selected Connexus Services

 

Dear Customer

We’d like to inform you of some important changes that will affect your Connexus service.

With the fast pace of technological change and evolving customer requirements, going forward Connexus will focus on only core voice and data services, and discontinue some add-on Connexus services.

This email gives notice that the following Connexus services will be cancelled with effect on 31 October 2018.

• Co-location
• Website Hosting
• Domain Hosting
• Domain Mailbox
• Secure Remote Backup
• Security Shield
• Web Content Filtering (Monitoring Bundle)
• Mail box services
• Mail Service (Catch all Email/Safe Mail)
• @connexus.net.au email services

What do I have to do?

Our records show you may have one or more of the services listed above. You will have until 31 October 2018 to find an alternative provider and move your service to them.

If you receive other Connexus voice and data services from us, they will continue after the cut-off date.
While some services can simply be switched to another provider, other services have special Service Transition Plans we encourage you to follow.

Contact us on 1300 133 888 between 8am-6pm Monday to Friday AEST to make arrangements for your individual transition plan. If you don’t contact us and move your service before 31 October 2018, the services will still be cancelled.

Details are outlined below:

Website Hosting

We will provide access to your website so you can download the contents and move it to a new hosting provider.

Domain Hosting

We will provide you the flat file with your domain contents directly via email so you can move to a different provider.

Website & Domain Hosting

We will provide the Zone file in the FTP directory for you to download and move to a different provider.

Domain Mailbox

We will provide access for you to download your mail in maildir format to move to a new hosting provider.

Secure Remote Backup

We will contact you directly to discuss the best means of transitioning your data.

Co-location

We will contact you directly to discuss the best means of transitioning your data.

 

Please note: Once your service is cancelled, you will no longer be able to access any invoices or historical information through the online portal. We recommend you download the information you need before the service is cancelled.

Connexus email services

Unfortunately there is no transition plan for email services. Connexus email addresses (@connexus.net.au) will not work after 31 October 2018.

You have until this date to find an alternative email provider and notify your contacts that your email address has changed. Any emails sent to your Connexus email address after the cut-off date will be lost.

If a Connexus email address is the primary point of contact you have with us, please make sure to provide us with your new email address for future correspondence. You should also download any documents and emails from your email inbox as you will not be able to access your account after the cut-off date.
