Connexus provides secure network storage service allowing customers to schedule regular automated backups of important company files. Setting it up is extremely easy. Using a Windows configuration wizard, customers simply select the directories or databases to be backed up and specify a schedule for the process to occur each night.
The software encrypts the files on your computer before sending them to the network storage ensuring it cannot be opened without your passphrase. The software performs incremental backups so that it only transmits files that have changed since the last backup was run.
Combining this service with Connexus Broadband allows you to make unlimited transactions to or from your remote network storage without the transfers contributing to your monthly download allowance. Ensure that the schedule takes place between midnight and 6am and the traffic is completely unmetered.

* All storage allocations are ‘soft limits’. If a scheduled task writes more data to the network storage on five or more days in any billing cycle, your Remote Backup plan is automatically upgraded (and charged) to the next level for that month.
All services are provided subject to the terms of our Standard Form of Agreement.
Windows software to access the secure remote backup storage is not included. Connexus recommend ‘Handy Backup’ which can be downloaded from http://www.handybackup.com/ for under $100. Any software supporting SFTP transfer protocol is compatible.
